The final of the Sheva B'rachot, or seven blessings recited at a Jewish wedding, recognizes God as having created joy, song, delight, celebration, love, harmony, peace, and companionship. Those eight words—gilah, rinah, ditzah, chedvah, ahavah, achavah, shalom, reut—are formed here by the overlap of the two colors, as it is through partnership that they come into being.
